Turn left and go up slight hill and turn right on Stormy Lane. Turn right on Bear Creek (2.0 miles) to Torkelson Rd. You’ll feel like you’re leaving town but you’re only coming to the country side of Bend.Ĭoming from the South going North on US 97, take Baker Rd/Knott Rd (exit 143). Located on the East side of Bend between Hwy 20 and Bear Creek off Torkelson Rd. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. I loved sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee. Her house is fabulous and much bigger than it appears in the pictures. “Much more fun than staying in a generic hotel room! Pegi is a great conversationalist and engaging host. I would recommend this property to anyone!” * The morning coffee! (Sitting out on the deck was delightful) * Pegi’s cookies! We definitely plan to come back and stay with Pegi again. * Pegi! She’s delightful and made us feel very welcome * The property’s gorgeous yard. Some of our trip highlights included: * Roasting s’mores under the stars * The super comfortable bed in our room. The property is gorgeous, and Pegi is so warm and friendly. “We had such an amazing time at Pegi’s B&B. If that’s not enough, the bathroom is also huge with plenty of counter space for two people to spread out, not to mention…double shower heads! Pegi’s fastidious attention to detail and her welcoming spirit made us feel right at home from the very first minute we walked through the front door.” Our room was huge, (pictures do not do justice) spotless and the bed was the most comfortable that my husband or I have ever slept in.
Bend was a one night stop on our 2 week vacation, we soon discovered that Bend is a DESTINATION and our wonderful hostess Pegi and her beautiful home is at the center of it all. “Our much needed peaceful stay at the Cabin Suite was so much more than we expected. I believe Sunny Acres B&B will become an annual event, my vacation from “the vacation.”

The cottage room has a divinely soft bed, a private bath and a TV with more channels than I knew what to do with. Hiking, river rafting, and Sun River are all in close proximity. Her home, for all its peacefulness, is an 8 minute drive to downtown Bend and all the great restaurants and shops. Her house is set back off the road on a lovely and landscaped acre with a babbling brook by which to drink your coffee near in the morning. Great place– would definitely stay there again.” There is a private entrance/exit onto the porch as well. It is removed from downtown Bend, but not far away. The room is huge! A great bed and a beautiful backyard. “This place is awesome. Pegi is a great host and will make you feel right at home. We wish her all the best, would highly recommend to stay with her and will be back.” The morning in the garden was a wonderful treat. “Pegi is a born host with a warm and “exposed” heart. Be warned…….you won’t want to leave the warm embrace of Pegi and her accommodations. Her very private setting is as nice as any high priced destination resort. Her fabulous home is impeccably clean, decorated and equipped. From the moment she greets you to the last wave goodbye Pegi gets a 5 star, superior rating. “There are not enough adjectives to describe the wonderful, gracious, sincere, welcoming, nurturing attributes of Pegi.
